Elisabeta Gabriela Ilie
PhD Researcher
Elisabeta Ilie is a Landscape Designer and a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant at The Bartlett School of Planning, UCL where she is completing her PhD research degree on inclusive urban design, with a focus on street homelessness in London. She has 5 years design experience in a London-based architecture practice working as an urban designer on small and middle scale urban (re)development schemes.

Since 2013, Elisabeta has been teaching on urban design and sustainability modules for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the Bartlett School of Planning. During her postgraduate studies, she has also collaborated on research projects surrounding social innovation and socio-spatial inequality. She holds an MA in Landscape Architecture (University of Greenwich, UK) and an MSc in Socio-spatial Analysis (Wageningen University, the Netherlands).
