Irene Manzini Ceinar
PhD Researcher
Irene is an urban designer with a background in architecture. She studied Architecture at the Politecnico of Milan and subsequently attended an MRes in Inter-disciplinary Urban Design at the Bartlett School of Planning, UCL. Since September 2019, she has been an Economic and Social Research Council-funded PhD student at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. Her current research focuses on local and community-led workspace practices and their relationship with the urban context and community.
More about me
Along with the research, she has held teaching positions at the Bartlett School of Planning UCL, Politecnico di Milan, and the London South Bank University. Further, she worked as an urban designer for AR Urbanism and a researcher for the Hackney Council and the Civic Design Group, developing community engagement projects and co-design processes.
